NiCE Guys & NiCE Gals
Volunteers for the NiCE Foundation
The NiCE Guys is a group of men who meet weekly at the church on Thursdays to help with maintenance projects for the church and deliver bread to the Salvation Army for their meal program. The men meet on various other days, as needed, to collect, sort, pack, and ship donated clothing, medical equipment and supplies, office equipment, household goods, and school supplies for the NiCE Foundation. They have a time of fellowship and food (of course) as they work. For more information, contact the church office or Gary Hamilton at 618-235-1917.
The NiCE Gals is a group of women who meet monthly, on the second Tuesday, to collect, sort, and package such items as layettes, hygiene kits, and school supplies. Some also sew receiving blankets and other clothing. Others collect good used baby clothing from garage sales. The layettes are distributed, through NiCE Foundation short-term mission teams, to needy new mothers in Nicaragua. For more information, contact the church office or Jan Evans at 618-632-4463.
